Does Disaster became an oppurtunity????
Flood in pakistan this year(2010) is described as the most disasterous calamity of the decade by several countrymen of pakistan. At least 300 people died and more than 700,000 homes are damaged and about 20million people suffered. It also destroyed 700,000 acres of cotton, 200,000 acres each of rice and cane, and 500,000 tonnes of wheat which lead to the threat of scarcity of food in the country. To tackle this disasterous situation UN announced the aid of
$460 million out of which $92million is provided to Pakistan. Afganistan provided a checqu of $1 million, Australia anounces $10 million aid package, Brazil donated $0.7 million, Canada announed $2 million aid package, China announced $1.48million aid package, Denamr donated $ 10 million, EU announced aid of $90 million, Finland announced 1.2 million euros, Germany announced $13 million aid package, India announced $6.8 million aid package
world bank provided $1.3 million to pak govt. and many maore assistance.....

In all Pakistan got about $130 million credit and $250 million of aid from organisations and goods, and yet $368 million will be given by UN. Well in case of disasterous situation like this a country need such helps to recover but the utilisation of money depends on the motive of the country. If I am not mistaken, pakistan is always blamed of tilizing the money given by World Bank to support militant group.

Well on humatirain ground it is wrong to say that in such a disasterous situation a country will try to benefit its envy motives rather than doing something for the welfare of his citizen, but the nature can be determined by past activities not by imagination.

Moreover, recently i have read in a newspaper that LeT and LeA are setting up their camps to provide aid and help to, and i was bemused taht how should I react on it. It can b just a clever move to add up money in their account. Well definately organisations and country do care about the flow of their money unfortunately there are no ways somebody can track flow of every penny otherwise there will not be the flow of black money in the market.

Well there is one more possibility which arises, the food, medicines and other aids which they got can be used to earn money once the prices of commodity goes high, as after such a massive destruction of crops the commodity prices will go high. What they have to do is to gather food and other commodities during aid program and then let it out once prices go high and make profit out of nothing.

These are all speculative posibilites for which the probability is as high as 99%. I remember the quote which says:"Every difficult situation is an oppurtunity to gain something". And this is a welcome oppurtunity for trrist group in Pak.

The nations who fight against terrorism are now involved in supplying money to these activists. Who knows that US is also one of the key financers for these groups, unknowingly.
